With the troubles in Nod-Krai now temporarily behind us, it’s time to return to where it all began. Genshin Impact Version Luna V: Homeward, He Who Caught the Wind, will see Varka and his expedition finally return to Mondstadt after years away from home.
Familiar skies, familiar faces, and unfamiliar stories… People often say that the further you go, the more important it is to remember where you started, and know your way home. “However, winds change their course.” Blowing toward where they are needed most, at the moment they are meant to arrive.
However, it is not a carefree celebration that awaits our heroes, but another fight against the Abyss, once again encroaching both on Mondstadt, and on Nod-Krai, led by a familiar and unexpected face: Mondstadt’s very own Bloodstained Knight. And the wolves have some connection to the unfolding crisis.

Varka is something of a legend in the world of Genshin – not only for his countrymen, but for players who had been hearing about his exploits since V1.0 as well. Arriving in person in Nod-Krai, he has shown himself as a bold, open-hearted and dependable friend.
You can further explore his story and learn more of his past through his Story Quest: Lupus Majoris Chapter – Act I. In it, the Great Wolf King of the North faces an unprecedented crisis, and Varka leads his allies in a stand against a new Wild Hunt calamity.

Phase I:
- Varka (5-star Anemo Claymore) & Flins (5-star Electro Polearm)
In combat, Varka’s dual-wielding combat style allows him to deal two different types of Elemental DMG simultaneously, adding greater depth and variety to combat. His Elemental Skill enhances his Normal Attacks and converts the DMG type of his right-hand claymore based on his teammates’ elements — changing it to Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo — while his left-hand claymore deals Anemo DMG.
By unleashing additional enhanced Normal Attacks, Varka can more frequently activate a special Elemental Skill or trigger a unique Charged Attack that does not consume Stamina, offering flexible combat options alongside formidable offensive potential. His Hexerei effect further enables more frequent use of his special Elemental Skill and Charged Attack, significantly boosting his overall damage output.

- Travelers’ Tales: Moongaze Chapter. A new day in Teyvat is about to begin. As you set off on your journey once more, pay attention to the whispers on the wind. Perhaps the breeze might bring you tidings from your friends…
- Overflowing Abundance double-drop event.
