Developer HoYoverse had been on hand during the latest Genshin Impact special program dedicated to the upcoming Version Luna VII: Truth Among the Pages of Purana. This is the title that Travelers had been waiting for since before Sumeru released, since this is exactly the title given to the whole chapter in the Teyvat Travails trailer.
“In an absurd dream, a future yet undecided comes briefly into view. Some see this world as shackles forged for the human mind. Yet, life and wisdom suggest something different.”
The events of the new version will take us back to the familiar landscapes of Sumeru, to revisit a plot point teased for years: the burning of Irminsul at Dottore’s hands. Does he manage to pull his newest heist off or do we get a chance to stop him? Stay tuned to find out, but the new story is certainly going to be quite fire. After a brief break with the Temple of Asmoday, Genshin Impact is back to Archon Quests. Prepare for two new acts to play through – Song of the Welkin Moon: Act IX ‘As All Falss to Emptiness” and Song of the Welkin Moon: Act X ‘Of Myriad Paths, Flux, and Dissolution’. Sumeru is plunged into a grave crisis as Nahida falls into a slumber.
Meanwhile, a new adversary emerges – one that bears a striking resemblace and similarities to Il Dottore, defeated by the Traveler and Columina in Nod-Krai. The looming threat seems many familiar faces to join their forces, including Nicole, Nefer, Collei, Ibis King Thoth, and others.
Completing this chapter within the specified time frame will give players extra 560 Primogems and Nicole’s Ascension Materials, as well as unlock a new weekly boss.
Genshin Impact – Version Luna VII Banners Feature:
- Phase I: Nicole (5-star Pyro Catalyst), Durin (5-star Pyro Sword), Prune (4-star Anemo Catalyst);
Joining the roster as a 5-star Pyro Catalyst wielder, Nicole brings powerful teamwide support to the battlefield. Her Elemental Skill grants an ATK Bonus to all party members, including those off the field, while generating a shield. Her Elemental Burst summons an Arcane Projection that follows the active character, unleashing Coordinated Attacks based on that character’s Elemental Type and gaining further enhancements under the Hexerei: Secret Rite effect.
Beyond combat, Nicole can use her Charged Attack to call upon a Seelie, guiding her toward nearby treasure.
Prune, a self-proclaimed “Witch Hunter” certified by none other than Alice, will also join the adventure alongside the two new companions. As a 4-star Anemo Catalyst wielder, she uses a bell and a giant hammer to deal multi-Elemental DMG and trigger Swirl reactions.
- Phase II: Lohen (5-star Cryo Polearm), Mavuika (5-star Pyro Claymore).
Lohen, Vice Captain of the Knights of Favonius’ Fifth Company, further expands the roster as a new 5-star character. A Cryo Polearm wielder, Lohen brings a distinctive and aggressive combat style to the battlefield, dealing substantial Cryo DMG through the management of two unique resources: “Joy” and “Will to Win.”
By entering the Masterstroke state through his Elemental Skill, he can build up and consume Joy to unleash enhanced skills, while Will to Win accumulates as his teammates engage in battle, further amplifying his combat potential. When paired with Hexerei characters, Lohen’s strengths can be brought even further to the fore. His Story Quest will also reveal an untold chapter from the history of the Knights of Favonius.

Meanwhile, Miliastra Wonderland will host a special sports festival for players to enjoy. In addition, Manekins can now perform actions across Teyvat, allowing players to capture even more memorable moments with the Kamera. Version “Luna VII” will also expand its suite of editing tools and assets.
