Developer HoYoverse revealed the full contents of the character and weapon banners coming in Genshin Impact – Version Luna VIII Phase I. This is the last Nod-Krai update before the Travelers venture to Snezhnaya, and it introduces a new family of reactions: Stellar, similar to how Nod-Krai had Lunar.
Sandrone and a host of buffed characters will be among the first to interact with the new reaction before we get more Snezhnaya characters.
Genshin Impact – Version Luna VIII Phase I Character Banners Feature:
- 5-star characters: Sandrone (Cryo Claymore), Citlali (Cryo Catalyst)
- 4-star characters: Freminet (Cryo Claymore), Beidou (Electro Claymore), Diona (Electro Bow)
- 5-star weapons: A Teaspoon of Transcendence (Claymore), Starcaller’s Watch (Catalyst)
- 4-star weapons: Favonius Sword (Sword), Rainslasher (Claymore), Dragon’s Bane (Polearm), Sacrificial Fragments (Catalyst), and Sacrificial Bow (Bow)
Arriving alongside Sandrone is Stellar-Conduct, a brand-new Cryo-Electro reaction. When triggered by certain Cryo and Electro characters, the surrounding area will briefly transform into a Polestar Field. This field can store excess Cryo and Electro energy and convert it into buffs, increasing the Stellar-Conduct DMG, as well as Cryo DMG and Electro DMG dealt by all characters within its range, while also reducing opponents’ Physical RES. Certain existing Cryo and Electro characters can also receive unique enhancements while within the field.
In combat, Sandrone can increase the entire party’s Stellar-Conduct DMG through the Polestar Field. She commands Fagio, a fully autonomous construct that deals Stellar-Conduct DMG with each Charged Attack and accumulates Decoding Power. Once Fagio reaches its firing limit, its attack intervals will increase. By using her Elemental Skill, Sandrone can maneuver through the Polestar Field while firing at opponents, reducing Decoding Power to prevent Fagio from overloading. Her Elemental Burst bombards opponents with artillery fire, and beam DMG dealt within the Polestar Field will be considered Stellar-Conduct DMG

- 5-star characters: Yae Miko, Cyno, Wriothesley, Qiqi, Yumemizuki Mizuki
- 5-star weapons: Kagura’s Verity (Catalyst), Staff of the Scarlet Sands (Polearm), Cashflow Supervision (Catalyst), Skyward Blade (Sword), Sunny Morning Sleep-In (Catalyst)
Older characters listed above will receive buffs not too dissimilar to Hexerei to work with the new Stellar reactions. Note that wish guarantee count for “Lightace Wish” and “Chronicled Wish” is shared!
Genshin Impact – Version Luna VIII Events Include:
- When We Look Up at the Moon – explore the new permanent areas, the Dunanna Pit and the Frost Moon, to claim Primogems x400;
- Sunny Summer Fontinalia – take part in the event to invite Charlotte to your party and obtain her new outfit;
- Witch’s Revelation enhancement – complete the quest ‘Revelations by Chance’ to obtain the Witch’s Revelation Case. Reveal them to unlock the corresponding character’s additional Talent and gain buffs.
- Final Long-Range Sightlines – take on the shooting strategy challenge to obtain rewards such as Primogems and Furnishings;
