Developer HoYoverse has taken to the official HoYolab page to reveal two new characters coming to Genshin Impact. Meet Xianyun, chivalrous shadow shrouded in cloud, and stalwart strider Gaming.
Xianyun is an upcoming Anemo character that players have previously met under a different name… and form. She goes by the title of Passerine Herald while her Constellation is Grus Serena. Liyue residents such as Shenhe, Ganyu, Madame Ping and Zhongli have naught but praise for her character, even if she sees herself differently.
“A new resident in the city, you say? Oh, it’s Cloud— I mean, Xianyun. Don’t be fooled by her usual manner… She’s someone you can truly rely on when the going gets tough. If you ever find yourself in trouble, just tell her — I’m sure she’d be willing to help.” — Madame Ping
Meanwhile, stalwart Gaming brings the heat with his Pyro Vision. His title is that of Leonine Vanguard while his Constellation is Leo Expergiscens. Don’t lose your chance to see Gaming perform his remarkable Wushou Dance. When he puts on his mask, he shakes his head and blinks like a waking beast. The vast array of emotions he conjures up, the unpredictable twists and turns… Following his every move with rapture, the audience can’t help but cheer and applaud.
But once the dance is over and the mask is off, it’s time to return to being a guard.
