Ghostrunner 2 was just revealed as part of the 2023 PlayStation Showcase.
Last night gave us plenty of new and upcoming titles during the 2023 PlayStation Showcase. The shiniest is obviously the chrome plated return of Ghostrunner. The follow up to 2020 far future cyborg slasher will load up onto Steam, PlayStation, Xbox Series S & X. with a new mission and plenty of visceral action later this year.
Set a year after players first took on the imposing Dharma Tower, and took down the mysterious Keymaster, Ghostrunner 2 sees cyber ninja protagonist Jack exploring outside of Dharma Tower. Moving out instead of up, this time we will all explore the sprawling wasteland outside the last bastion of humanity.
The second hack and slash is likely to bring the similarly intense fast-paced-push-forward combat, and deeply challenging gameplay, with plenty of new changes. 505 Games promised to up the ante from the original in every conceivable way. That includes vehicular combat for the very first time, popping out into the scorched wilderness on a new motorcycle. That’s not all either. New weapons, powers, abilities, and enemies will populate a wider world. As you’d expect, a tailer is available to feast upon.
