Gearbox has just unveiled Picaro Bay and Heaven’s Ward, two new maps for the upcoming Gigantic: Rampage Edition.
Mind your wallets and keep spamming dodge when you enter the dodgy back alleys of Gigantic’s newest locations. After relaunching arena brawler Gigantic for the second time and, Gearbox is giving one and all a look at the newest maps for this interesting resurrection. The newest trailer centres on Picaro Bay and Heaven’s Ward, a seedy pirat4 themed resort, and a far future industrialized zone.
Picaro Bay
Picaro Bay would be a chill coastal town, if it wasn’t for the locals. The sea breeze still blows in on this port town, but the chaotic planning laws mean that you’ll find it stacked with verticality, narrow alleyways, and a pirate ship. Perfect for fast paced clashed in confined spaces. The irate-themed map also has three distinct areas. Two opposing camps sit on both sides of the map and are adorned by colorful banners, buildings, and other decorative features. The main battlefield sitting right in the center of town, where guardians will likely clash over territory.
Heaven’s Ward
Heaven’s Ward is something of a contrast. A heavy industrialized zone, this map includes hosts a foreboding power plant, warehouses, and factories. A district of sky city Tesserus, this location looks astounding, but one misstep will mean a long fall to your doom. Check out the high-flying jump pads in the teaser, above.
