Govee is bringing artificial intelligence to just about every corner of the home with three new RGB lighting products unveiled today at IFA 2026. The company’s latest lineup includes a mood-responsive ceiling light, a high-density COB strip light, and a new permanent outdoor lighting system designed to give homeowners considerably more control over their light shows.
The commonality across the new products is Govee’s AI Lighting Bot 2.0, which allows users to describe the kind of lighting they want using text or voice prompts. Govee says its AI lighting system has been designed to make creating and refining lighting scenes more natural, rather than forcing users to manually dig through settings.
For gaming rooms and entertainment setups, the Govee COB Strip Light 2 Pro takes the familiar LED strip and crams an impressive amount of hardware into it. The flagship strip packs 1,344 LEDs and 16 ICs per meter, along with a triple-layer groove design intended to eliminate visible hotspots. RGBWWIC technology, Govee’s LuminBlend+ color engine, and a 1,000K to 10,000K color temperature range round out the package. Govee is also introducing the less expensive COB Strip Light 2, which retains the company’s focus on smooth, spot-free illumination and AI-powered lighting scenes.
The Govee Sky Ceiling Light is perhaps the most unusual of the three. Govee calls it the industry’s first AI-powered mood-responsive ceiling light, with the AI Lighting Bot generating lighting based on a user’s mood and daily needs. The light features Govee’s Vitality Spectrum Technology, including a custom 478nm sky-blue wavelength intended to support alertness when natural daylight is limited. It can produce up to 7,000 lumens, supports a 1,000K to 10,000K color temperature range, and carries a CRI of 95. It is also TUV Rheinland-certified for low glare, rated RG0 for blue-light hazard, and designed for flicker-free operation. Matter support and DaySync allow it to integrate with smart home systems while automatically adjusting based on time and weather.
Finally, the Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 Pro is aimed at homeowners who want to turn their house into a programmable lighting installation. Its standout feature is a dual-layer design that places two independently controlled IC chips inside each light head. That means the upper and lower portions of each light can display different colors and effects simultaneously.
The system’s ColorZone technology enables gradients, wall-washing effects, and architectural highlights, while AI Lighting Bot 2.0 can generate customized dual-layer designs from simple descriptions. Independent-control Y connectors also allow split light strings to run completely different effects after branching. The lights carry an IP68 waterproof rating and support Matter, Alexa, and Google Home.
