When no one expected any news about JRPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Cygames presented a brand-new trailer, announcing a game expansion. The game receives a grand expansion, coming as an Endless Ragnarok DLC. This won’t be just an item bundle, but a whole new story in the fantasy adventure. Moreover, the DLC will bring new game modes, gameplay improvements, and co-op battles with cross-play across all platforms.
DLC Overview
- New Story and Threats: The story continues after the defeat of Astral Lilith, with new threats including the apocalyptic “ragnalia” and the powerful Beelzebub.
- Summon System: Players unlock the ability to equip and call powerful summons. Some can be temporarily controlled, while others trigger a spectacular new “primal burst” chain attack under specific conditions.
New Game Modes:
- The Conflux: A new solo mode featuring unpredictable challenges and enigmatic powers.
- Enhanced Co-op: New high-difficulty tiers and extra bosses.
- Progression Depth: The DLC brings master traits, which allow characters to go beyond their previous limits.
- Cross play: The 4-player online co-op now supports cross-play across all platforms.
The Endless Ragnarok Upgrade Kit allows players to upgrade their existing copy of Granblue Fantasy: Relink on the same platform.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok comes to PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2 on 9 July 2026.
