Cygames, Inc. has released the 2.0.3 game version for the action JRPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink. The new update addresses various bug fixes and improvements across multiple systems. However, after the game version launch, the developers released a special notice, stating that they are aware of the data loading issue and are already working on the fix. Until the issue is resolved, the developer team recommends players avoid saving on the Grandcypher.

Backup Characters
- Fixed an intermittent bug where the network connection would hang while fetching the backup list.
- Fixed a bug where captains with character-unique sigils equipped wouldn’t appear in the backup list under specific conditions.
Online
- Fixed softlock issues occurring during online co-op after repeating quests aboard the Grandcypher and traveling to Seedhollow.
- Fixed a softlock for remaining party members when the party leader disconnected during matchmaking timeout with the “Retry” pop-up active.
- Fixed a crash when claiming link bonuses from the Knickknack Shack after linking with Cygames ID during co-op.
- Improved network performance to reduce network errors (Steam platform).
Battle
- Fixed an intermittent bug where non-player-controlled Sandalphon using Talviyö wouldn’t join link attacks.
- Fixed softlock issues in The Not Forgotten Sky quest caused by specific foe abilities under certain conditions:
- Vermillion Claw / Vivid Fire, Azure Eddy / Fatal Attractor, Gold Rockfall / Universal Paroxysm, Emerald Beak / Exhaustive Collapse, White Flare / Myribolt Refraction, Black Hex / Necrotic Storm
- Properly implemented English voice line for Lucilius’s Final Rebellion.
Cinematics and Presentation
- Fixed a bug where boss defeat cutscenes were skipped during first-time clears in online co-op with Quest Cutscene Auto-Skip enabled.
- Unique voice lines that play after clearing a quest for the first time will now play every time that quest is cleared (CHAOS++ and Defy Infinity quests).
Systems
- Fixed a rare bug preventing players from obtaining Crewmate Card: Gallanza and Crewmate Card: Maglielle. A method to obtain these cards has been added:
- Watch the cutscene “New Allies,” then travel to Folca or Seedhollow to receive the missing cards.
- Fixed a crash when converting saved data for ver. 1.2.2 or lower.
- Fixed intermittent trophy unlock issues: Seventh Heaven, Saber This Moment, Forever Tweyenty, Perfect Arc, Lightbringer, Evangelium.
UI
- Fixed color scheme issues for Narmaya, Beatrix, and Id main menu illustrations.
- Fixed HP, ATK, and M. Lvl display issues during co-op with three or more players.
- Fixed a crash when switching to and from the Weapon Collection Bonus screen.
