Perfect Garbage Studio has announced a release delay for the pixel RPG Grave Seasons. The development team acknowledged the challenges and admitted that they need extra time to finish everything they’ve planned. During the additional development period, they plan to address optimizations that will allow the game to run smoothly on Switch and a wider range of PC specifications. However, the team has finished the main content and is now focusing on final polish and bug fixing.
Grave Seasons is a narrative-driven supernatural horror wrapped in a farming and life sim. Players take on the role of an escaped convict attempting to live peacefully in the small mountainside town of Ashenridge. Unfortunately, things take a turn for the worse when a supernatural serial killer begins attacking neighbors. Players have one year to protect victims. Using farming, foraging, crafting, and investigation, they have to discover methods that ward off monsters. However, as they uncover the truth behind the murder, the task at hand becomes more complicated and dangerous.
