Lazy Bear Games and publisher tinyBuild has announced a sequel to acclaimed sandbox game Graveyard Keeper. To celebrate this milestone, the developers give away the first game for free on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X. However, the offer is time-limited and ends on April 13. Grab your copy and test your wits as a graveyard keeper, preparing for the challenges the sequel might bring.
Graveyard Keeper 2 follows the original game idea, yet brings it to a new level. This time players step into shoes of a Grand Inquisitor, taking under protection an entire city. The core gameplay includes settlement restoration, economic management and defense preparation. The game offers dark humor and non-standard challenges, including undead control and remnants usage for the craft.
Key Game Features
- Graveyard Management: Players build and manage a medieval graveyard. Resources including flora, fauna, and human remains are used to construct machinery, automate production, and expand operations.
- Automation: Zombie-based systems enable automated production, allowing players to plan the actions efficiently.
- Combat: Players lead an undead army, build fortifications, craft armor and weapons, and engage in battles to defend the kingdom.
- Town Restoration: Players assist townsfolk in rebuilding homes and completing quests.
- Tone: Features dark humor, eccentric characters, and a twisted narrative.
Graveyard Keeper 2 comes to PC (Steam), Xbox Series, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch later this year.
