This is not the first time that we have a chance to see GreedFall 2 character creator, previously the devs have given a small preview of the things to come. However, in the latest blog post, developer Spiders provided a closer look at what customization options await in-game! Note that the content shown is still a work-in-progress and is subject to change before the full release.
“The character creator. Where dreams manifest and strange monstrosities are created. A hell in which you spend hours trying to get your character’s nose just right. After all, there’s nothing worse than seeing your character in a cutscene and realising something is slightly off. For the first time ever (and, potentially, to our peril), we’ve handed you the power to freely create your very own character thanks to the team’s hard work.”
The new character creator offers many more options compared to the original GreedFall and its presets. With the sliders, players can edit various aspects such as the face shape, the chin, and nose. The variety of hairstyles, eyebrows, and scars has also improved dramatically.
However, if you are not someone willing to spend hours in the creator to get your protagonist just right, there are still a number of presets to choose from. If you’re feeling adventurous, there is also the randomize button. Who knows what it’ll come up with…
