Developer Spiders is back with news regarding the upcoming major update 0.3 for GreedFall 2: The Dying World. When you first start a new game after the next update, you’ll be given different playstyle options. You’ll be able to select the one that fits your needs the most.
Here are the three game profiles that you will be able to choose from:
- Tactical: This choice offers a more in-depth tactical experience, allowing you complete control over your companions and the battle. Activate or disactivate the Autonomous companion AI, freely control the camera, and use the tactical pause as needed. You can freely change the number of stackable actions too, if you so please.
- Hybrid: Perhaps a pure tactical style isn’t for you, but you don’t want to solely focus on your character. In this case, hybrid combat might be the best choice for you – activate and disactivate the Autonomous AI, give yourself partial control over the camera and tactical pause. And as with the Tactical option, you can change the number of stackable actions here too.
- Focused: And if neither of these fit the bill? Then there’s the focused option. Autonomous AI will always be activated, allowing you to focus solely on your character whilst your companions take care of themselves. You’ll also have partial control over the camera, and the tactical pause’s functions will be restricted.
From that point on, you can proceed to choose the difficulty, Friendly Fire options, subtitles, keybinds, camera settings, and more.
But that is not all that will be introduced in the upcoming update. Other additions include new language support (Japanese and Korean), a new companion: Till of the Coin Guard, armor system overhaul, and new location: Peren, an ancient city held by the Congregation of Merchants.
