Publisher Megabit Publishing and developer Milky Tea Studios are inviting Commanders to check out the updated demo for Grit and Valor – 1949, a dieselpunk real-time tactics roguelite set in an alt-history World War 2.
In the world of Grit and Valor, deadly Axis Mechs patrol the landscape, intimidating the populace and flushing out rebels. Survivors are few, but have regrouped under the new flag of The Resistance. You are the free world’s last hope. Your deadly mission; deliver a devastating EMP weapon into heart of enemy territory to turn the tide of the war.
Since the last demo, the developers have added mid-run upgrades that are air-dropped during missions, unlocked additional buildings, and have made Command Vehicle unit more active on the battlefield. Additionally, the developers shared a couple of known issues:
- Some Pilot upgrades in the Barrack appear more than once. Minimal gameplay impact as these upgrades are available late in a playthrough.
- Previous settings from the earlier demo and closed beta may be pre-applied (e.g. key bindings). Make sure to check these if you played before, especially for the time control settings which may be unbound. Resetting to default will fix this if needed.
