Arc System Works has released Version 2.00 for the 2D fighter Guilty Gear: Strive. The update introduces a new character, a new stage, and numerous additional features. Improvements include gameplay balance changes, new cosmetics, character stories, a redesigned Main Menu, and overall quality-of-life enhancements. The update comes live today, April 9, on all platforms.

- New Character: Jam Kuradoberi (Season Pass 5 or individual DLC required).
- New Stage: Cradled by the Four Beasts (Season Pass 5 required).
- New Battle Version: Ver.5.00.
- Main Menu: Redesigned interface.
- Ranked Matches: Expanded with new Vanquisher rank levels and Imperius title for top 100 players.

- Sin’s full name is now voiced.

- Arcade Mode: “Retry with lower difficulty” option after loss (opponent starts with reduced health).
- Fishing: Option to fish 50 times at once.
- Reduced server connection time on the title screen.
- PlayStation 5: Fixed the Ranked Match issue after PlayStation Tournaments matches.
- Various text corrections across languages.
- Axl Low: Fixed command notation errors; corrected Aerial Snail description (ground bounce, not wall bounce); fixed “Whistling Wind” reference.
- Faust: Corrected directional movement description.
- Millia: Added missing Standing Kick knockback reduction.
- Ramlethal Valentine: Corrected Sabrobato terminology; fixed vacuum effect description; corrected sword attack bounce description.
