Halo Studios and Xbox Game Studios have announced a release date for Halo: Campaign Evolved. The game launches on July 28, 2026, on Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and PlayStation 5. Meanwhile, the Early Access starts on July 23, 2026, for Digital Premium Edition and Collector’s Edition pre-orders only.
Halo: Campaign Evolved Is a modernized version of the legendary game. The original story is rebuilt with high-definition visuals, updated cinematics, and refined controls. However, it also brings three new mission adventure titles. Set before the events of Halo: Combat Evolved, missions follow Master Chief and Sgt. Major Avery Johnson as they encounter new threats, allies, and surprises aboard a Covenant vessel.
The game is still available for pre-purchase, offering special in game rewards and unique bonuses.
