Developer Unfrozen is back with exciting news: turn-based strategy Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era hit 500,000 Wishlists. This makes it top-1 in the Turn-based Strategy and among the top-10 titles in the Strategy categories in the official Steam Wishlist chart.
“This is beyond anything we’ve ever imagined, and we’re completely overwhelmed with gratitude. Seeing such an outpouring of support for Olden Era fills our hearts with joy, excitement, and pure appreciation. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for believing in us and this game.
And if that wasn’t enough, you folks absolutely crushed it with playtest requests — over 100,000 of them! That’s mind-blowing, and we can’t express how much it means to us. We truly wish we could welcome every single one of you, and we’re doing our best to get as many players in as possible. Thank you for your patience and enthusiasm!”
Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era promises a return to the origins of the legendary saga, inviting both veterans and new players alike to explore Jadame, a mysterious continent in turmoil.
The game will be coming into Early Access in Q2 2025, featuring six factions: Temple (Classic Knights), Necropolis (Undead and Vampires), Sylvan (Nature and Fey Folk), Dungeon (Dark Elves and Underground Creatures), Hive (Demonic Insectoids), and a sixth mysterious faction that will be revealed later. The devs plan to expand the list in the future updates and DLC.
The game will offer three single-player modes: Campaign, Randomly Generated Map and Skirmish. There are also three multiplayer modes to enjoy: Classic Mode, One-Hero Mode & Arena.
