Developer Blizzard Entertainment shared an interesting piece of news: MOBA Heroes of the Storm is now available on Game Pass.
“Starring some of your favorite Blizzard characters from across our different game universes, Heroes of the Storm is a MOBA quite unlike any other, and it’s now available on Game Pass. What’s more, when you play Heroes of the Storm on Game Pass you get access to the Heroic Reinforcement Bundle, boosting your roster with 30 Heroes for free.”
Heroes included in this bundle are: Anub’arak, Tyrael, Blaze, Garrosh, Diablo, Sonya, Varian, Rexxar, Artanis, Malthael, Whitemane, Rehgar, Deckard, Morales, Uther, Abathur, The Lost Vikings, Medivh, Tassadar, Zarya, Butcher, Kerrigan, Maiev, Valeera, Gazlowe, Falstad, Li-Ming, Kael’thas, Nova, Hanzo.
If you were looking for a reason to jump back into the Nexus or try the game out for the first time, there has been no better sign to do so in a while. Despite being moved to a maintenance mode in 2022, the game continues to receive bug fixes and balance updates, with the latest dropping earlier this month.
Fans are also hoping that the announcement of BlizzCon returning in 2026 might mean the second chance for the game. Don’t hold your breath, but mark your calendar regardless: BlizzCon returns to Anaheim in September 2026 with new announcements.
