Wildlight Entertainment studio, founded by ex-members of Respawn Entertainment, announced their debut project Highguard. During The Game Awards, they presented a reveal trailer, featuring the gameplay demonstration and introducing main characters. Moreover, along with the announcement, the game received a release date. Highguard comes to PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
Coming from the creators of Apex Legends and Titanfall, Highguard is a PvP first-person shooter, where players team-up for the raids. They take a role of Wardens, the gunslingers who mastered the arcane arts. The players will fight for dominance overt the mythical continent. In this world, everyone want to possess the Shieldbreaker, the only weapon that can destroy defenses of the rivals’ base and help to secure the area. The game promises to become an all-new breed of the shooter, bringing experience with no compromises.
