Warner Bros. Games has announced Hogwarts Legacy is now available to preorder for Nintendo Switch 2. The game will be available on Switch 2 launch day, June 5, 2025. Players can purchase either the Digital Standard Edition for $59.99 or the Digital Deluxe Edition for $69.99. Those who already own a copy of the Switch 1 version will receive a discount.
To showcase the magical game in all its glory, the Warner Bros. Games and Portkey Games development team has released a great new gameplay trailer. Viewers are introduced to an open-world, immersive role-playing game set in the realms of the Harry Potter novels. It is set in the 1800s with players embarking on their journey as a fifth-year student.

Published by Warner Bros. Games under the Portkey Games label and developed by Avalanche Software, Hogwarts Legacy is an immersive, action-packed, open-world role-playing game set in the 1800s wizarding world. Beginning as a fifth year, players will embark on a journey through new and familiar locations, explore and discover magical beasts, craft potions, master spell casting, upgrade talents, and customize their character to become the witch or wizard they want to be.
Currently, Hogwarts Legacy is available on multiple systems, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 1.
