The release of Hollow Knight: Silksong is imminent, and Team Cherry shares Key Distribution details for Kickstarter backers. The participants of the campaign are receiving a special survey that must be completed within 24 hours. The keys themselves will be distributed shortly before the game’s official release. However, those who miss the survey deadline will have to contact the developers directly.
Steam keys will be distributed through Humble Bundle and include the official soundtrack for all players. DRM-free versions will also be available at the same link, though only after the game’s official release.
Nintendo Switch backers will receive their game codes via email. Please note: these codes can only be activated after the official release of the game in your region. Additionally, the developers have confirmed a free upgrade for Nintendo Switch 2, titled the Hollow Knight: Silksong Upgrade Pack. It is currently unclear whether this free upgrade is exclusive to Kickstarter backers or will be available to all players. Further details are expected soon.
