Developer Unfrozen is back with some heroic news, HoMM: Olden Era demo is available now! It’s time to build up your town, hire your armies, and dive into the battle for Jadame turn by turn!
“It is with great pleasure that we’re happy to announce the DEMO for Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era is AVAILABLE NOW! The mystical lands of Jadame have unveiled some of their secrets and invite you to explore them and face the dangers they hide! Whether you’ll be a plunderer, a saviour or a corruptor of this magical realm is entirely up to you as you choose to play from the sacred Temple, the native rulers of Dungeon, the undead and vampiric lords of Necropolis or the peculiar eldritch spires of Schism!”
For this Olden Era Demo version you will have access to the following:
- In-game tutorial
- Singleplayer with 3 different modes:
- Classic (Multi-Hero)
- Single Hero
- Arena
- Three templates for Single Hero and Classic (Multi-Hero) modes
- Four factions: Temple, Necropolis, Dungeon, Schism
The developers have also revealed that EA release window is moving to 2026, which will provide another opportunity to conduct more tests, improve the UI, and redesign some of the units based on player feedback.
About Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era:
Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era promises a return to the origins of the legendary saga, inviting both veterans and new players alike to explore Jadame, a mysterious continent in turmoil. The game will offer three single-player modes: Campaign, Randomly Generated Map and Skirmish. There are also three multiplayer modes to enjoy: Classic Mode, One-Hero Mode & Arena.
There will be six factions in Early Access: Temple (Classic Knights), Necropolis (Undead and Vampires), Sylvan (Nature and Fey Folk), Dungeon (Dark Elves and Underground Creatures), Hive (Demonic Insectoids), and the Schism, the sixth mysterious faction. The devs plan to expand the list in the future updates and DLC.
