Studio Unfrozen, the developer of the upcoming turn-based strategy Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, is back with the second community update. In it, the team and Ana from Heroes Take Turns go over community concerns, including the worries about the Temple faction.
The video also addresses the concerns about the visibility and color saturation by introducing the color profiles. Those include Default, Muted, Contrast, Dark, Saturation. There are also 3 options for additional visibility: no outlines, outlines for all objects, and highlighted objects.
“We have once again delved into your feedback to see what you believe is needed most! We’ve seen all of your concerns regarding Temple, the Angels and readability in adventure map and combat, and so we have improved that further! The town screen and the adventure model have received a major redesign and the Angels have been redone to match the world of Enroth better. We have added colour profiles and accessibility options to make it easier to see units on the battlefield and on the adventure map.”

Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era promises a return to the origins of the legendary saga, inviting both veterans and new players alike to explore Jadame, a mysterious continent in turmoil. The game will offer three single-player modes: Campaign, Randomly Generated Map and Skirmish. There are also three multiplayer modes to enjoy: Classic Mode, One-Hero Mode & Arena.
There will be six factions in Early Access in Summer 2025: Temple (Classic Knights), Necropolis (Undead and Vampires), Sylvan (Nature and Fey Folk), Dungeon (Dark Elves and Underground Creatures), Hive (Demonic Insectoids), and a sixth mysterious faction that will be revealed later. The devs plan to expand the list in the future updates and DLC.
