Developer Unfrozen and Ana from Heroes Take Turns are back with a new community update video dedicated to the HoMM: Olden Era demo achievements, over and plans. If you haven’t tried the demo yet, the video might be the perfect incentive to take the plunge!
In the demo, you have access to the following:
- In-game tutorial
- Single-player with 3 different modes: Classic (Multi-Hero), Single Hero, Arena
- Three templates for Single Hero and Classic (Multi-Hero) modes
- Four factions: Temple, Necropolis, Dungeon, Schism
The developers have also revealed that EA release window is moving to 2026, which will provide another opportunity to conduct more tests, improve the UI, and redesign some of the units based on player feedback.
About Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era:
Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era promises a return to the origins of the legendary saga, inviting both veterans and new players alike to explore Jadame, a mysterious continent in turmoil. The game will offer three single-player modes: Campaign, Randomly Generated Map and Skirmish. There are also three multiplayer modes to enjoy: Classic Mode, One-Hero Mode & Arena.
There will be six factions in Early Access: Temple (Classic Knights), Necropolis (Undead and Vampires), Sylvan (Nature and Fey Folk), Dungeon (Dark Elves and Underground Creatures), Hive (Demonic Insectoids), and the Schism, the sixth mysterious faction. The devs plan to expand the list in the future updates and DLC.
