Developer HoYoverse took to HoYoLAB to outline the newest expansion for Honkai: Star Rail’s Currency Wars: Zero-Sum Game mode.
Two new characters, Mortenax Blade and Himeko Nova, will join Currency Wars in Version 4.4 immediately after the update goes live. Additionally, collab characters Rin Tohsaka and Gilgamesh will join the roster as well after the collaboration goes live, forming a new Holy Grail of Destiny bond together with Saber and Archer.
Sampo, Blade, Pela and Himeko will become Expert Advisors, Jiaoqiu abandons the Heal Bond for DoT, max rank difficulty increases to A8 Wealth Creator 50 with the Ascension Level Cap raising to 170. That also means new challenges and new rewards!
Last but not least, there is a new boss opponent to challenge: The Artist Family Business (Graphia boss fight). You can find the full list of changes here.
In other HSR news, the Version 4.4 preload is now available. Take advantage of this feature to download and install some of the game files so you can start playing as soon as possible once servers go up after the maintenance on Wednesday, July 15.
- PC players can continue playing the game while it is updating. The file size is roughly 4.4 GB. To initiate pre-download, open HoYoLauncher and click the button next to the “Play” option.
- Mobile (Android and iOS) users cannot play the game while the update is underway. The file size is roughly 2.6 GB, and HoYoverse recommends using Wi-Fi network. After the version update, mobile devices will still need to download the latest client to experience the new version content.
- PlayStation and Xbox versions will update automatically as long as there’s enough space on the disk.
