Developer HoYoverse has taken to the official HoYoLAB page to share Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.2 update radio. In it, the team goes through the upcoming optimizations, enhancements and featuring coming to the game next week and beyond. Let’s check it out!
New Limited Character & Light Cone Exchange Shop
After Version 3.2 goes live, the game will receive new character and LC Exchange Shop “Stellar Convergence”. During the first phase, Trailblazers can acquire the following 5-stars: Ruan Mei (Ice Harmony) and Luocha (Imaginary Abundance), in addition to the usual Standard banner characters. Purchasing a character requires special currency: the Golden Companion Spirit. In Version 3.2, players will receive one such Golden Spirit, allowing them to pick one of these characters for free.
Going onward, when Trailblazers obtain an Eidolon for a 5-star character that already has reached max Eidolons, they will now receive Silver Companion Spirits instead. Two such Silver Spirits can be exchanged for one Golden Spirit, required by the new store.
Additionally, the limited 5-star LCs “Past Self in the Mirror” (Harmony, Ruan Mei’s signature), “She Already Shut Her Eyes” (Preservation, Fu Xuan’s signature), The Unreachable Side (Destruction, Blade’s signature), “Echoes of the Coffin” (Abundance, Luocha’s signature), “In the Night” (Hunt, Seele’s signature) as well as standard 5-star LCs will be added to this store.
To purchase a Light Cone from the store, players would need to have 4 Light Cone Memory Shards. 1 Light Cone Memory Shard has been added to Nameless Glory, unlock it and reach certain Honor Levels to claim it. Light Cones added to the shop will remain permanently available.
Character Warp Optimization
Starting from Version 3.2, you can select 7 non-featured 5-star characters in Character Event Warp. Seele (5-star Quantum Hunt), Blade (5-star Wind Destruction) and Fu Xuan (5-star Quantum Preservation) join this list in addition to the previously released 7 standard characters. Note that you can’t pull Seele, Blade and Fu Xuan from the standard banner, you can only lose your 50/50 to them when pulling on the event banners if you have selected them.
Supplement Materials Feature Optimization
When you have enough low-rarity materials, Trailblazers will no longer need to repeatedly visit the Synthesize interface. When upgrading, if you don’t have enough of the required materials, but have sufficient lower-rarity materials in your inventory, you can directly click Material Synthesis to proceed.
Relic Farming Experience Optimization
After the update, Trailblazers can tap Relic Finalization Settings on the Relic Stage entry interface to configure related settings. After completing, low-star Relics obtained from combat will be automatically salvaged.
New ‘Smart Discard’ Feature
When salvaging Relics, Trailblazers can click “Smart Discard and select options to automatically filter Relics blanks based on current big data analytics to mark them as “Discard”. For example, when choosing “Main Stat not suitable for any recommended character”, it will filter out Relics whose Main Stat is “unused” among the characters that are compatible with the current set.
For example, the “Valorous Plate of Soaring Flight” with Outgoing Healing or the “Iron Cavalry’s Silvery Armor” with DEF Percentage as main stats.
New Mass Superimposition Feature
This new feature allows Trailblazers to mass superimpose 4-star Light Cones.
