Developer HoYoverse revealed the gameplay details of the upcoming Honkai: Star Rail event, Remnants of Twilight. Trailblazers will face formidable foes documented in the final volume of enlightenment scrolls. Every stage has a special combat mechanism, so building the right lineup and strategy is the key.
“After the Dawn Device was extinguished, a strangely styled scroll appeared in the Garden of Life. As twilight fades, read the final Aquila enlightenment and challenge the formidable foes inscribed in the Epic.”
The event kicks off tomorrow, January 7, and will last through February 9th. Each Remnants of Twilight stage has multiple difficulties. Complete the specified goals and claim bountiful rewards! On Nightmare difficulty, you will have to confront even more dangerous enemies and take on the highly difficult Final Showdown. The rewards for it are permanent, so you can continue to challenge it even after the limited-time event is over.
After the event starts, a new challenge stage will be unlocked each day, for a total of 5 stages. Each challenge level has three difficulties: Easy, Hard, and Nightmare. Complete one difficulty to unlock the next. Each challenge stage has a unique mechanic, which is greatly intensified in Nightmare difficulty.
When entering combat, triggers all characters’ Technique Buffs. If multiple incompatible Technique Buffs exist in the lineup, they will be triggered according to the character’s position order, prioritizing characters positioned in front. Complete the Nightmare difficulty challenge to receive an SS rating. During the event period, rewards can be claimed via Limited-Time Rewards upon achieving specific Objectives within the stages.
