Developer HoYoverse announced a new Honkai: Star Rail event, Treasure Hunt, kicking off on January 28. Many treasures lie hidden along the Trailblaze path. Use your Trailblaze Power to find them, and make your every journey worth your time.
It’s as easy as it sounds: between January 28 and February 12, consume Trailblaze Power to obtain Treasure Hunt Tickets, up to a maximum of 100. You can use them to seek treasure and receive random rewards. Accumulating a certain number of treasure hunts will also grant Stellar Jades and Self-Modeling Resins rewards.
In other HSR news, the developers have also announced a new, special Path Materials exchange info. Much like V3.0 before it, Version 4.0 will introduce a new playable Path: Elation, featuring two new characters, Yao Guang and Sparxie. With both of them following the Path of Elation, prefarming can be quite the chore… or it would have been, if the team didn’t have your back.
The usual Garden of Plenty, the double drop event for Calyx (Golden) and Calyx (Crimson) will kick off tomorrow alongside the Treasure Hunt. What is special about it, is that during Version 4.0, Trace Materials for any Path can be exchanged 1:1 for a specific amount of brand-new Trace Materials for The Elation.
That way, you can get ready for the new characters by farming the currently-available Path Materials even before V4.0 goes live. Note that new characters coming in 4.x as well as their Light Cones will likely need new materials.
