Developer HoYoverse kicked off the pre-download for Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.2, arriving this Wednesday, April 9th. Pre-installing the files on PC or mobile will allow you to start playing as soon as possible once the maintenance is over.
Speaking of the maintenance, it will be conducted on April 9 at 6 am UTC+8, lasting approximately 5 hours. During the maintenance period, Trailblazers will be unable to log in to the game. All players will be awarded Stellar Jade x300 for this downtime.
Here’s how to pre-download HSR V3.2 on your device:
- PC: Open HoYoPlay. On the left side of the “Start Game” button, you will find the “Game Pre-Installation” icon. Click the icon to start the download. While the pre-download is being completed, you can continue playing the game. The PC version is approximately 4.7 GB.
- Mobile (iOS and Android). Launch the game. The “Resource Pre-Download” button will appear in the bottom-right corner of the login screen. Tap to begin pre-download. Note that the game cannot be played while the pre-download is commencing. Wi-Fi recommended due to the file size being around 2.1 GB.
- PlayStation: After Trailblazers launch Honkai: Star Rail, if sufficient storage space is available on the device, the game will automatically begin pre-installing Honkai: Star Rail after a short period of time.
The upcoming Version 3.2 will coincide with the game’s 2nd anniversary, promising some juicy rewards and additions.
