Developer HoYoverse kicked off the Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.5 pre-download. Take advantage of this feature to begin playing as soon as possible after the servers go up on Wednesday, August 13, following a scheduled maintenance. The pre-download allows you to get some of the game files ahead of the version launch for a smoother experience.
Version 3.5 officially kicks off the second half of the Amphoreus story. There are new companions to encounter, enemies to face, and even some old friends in some completely fresh forms! Knight-Commander Hysilens and Imperator Cerydra, historical figures from Okhema’s past, will also debut as playable characters in this update.
- PC: the pre-download size is approximately 5 GB, you can continue playing the game while the process is ongoing;
- Android/iOS: the file size is roughly 2.4 GB, you can not play while the pre-download is in progress.
- PlayStation: if sufficient storage space is available on the device, the game will automatically begin pre-installing Honkai: Star Rail after a short period of time.
