Developer HoYoverse kicked off the latest update for turn-based RPG Honkai: Star Rail. Version 3.6: Back to Earth in Evernight is available now, introducing new 5-star Ice Remembrance character, Evernight, new game mode Anomaly Arbitration, new story, and more.
In this particular update, the two new characters – currently available Evernight and Dan Heng: Permansor Terrae – are both familiar faces, new limited 5-star versions of the Trailblazer’s companions. March’s previously released trailer and Myriad Celestia hinted at her journey on Amphoreus and how Evernight came to be. But what about Dan Heng? His story is explored in the latest animated short ‘Trek’.
Note that developers suggest waiting until you naturally see the video during the v3.6 playthrough since it contains spoilers!

Honkai: Star Rail – Version 3.6 Additions & Events:
- New Trailblaze Mission: “Back to Earth in Evernight”;
- New Areas: Radiant Scarwood (Grove of Epiphany), Great Tomb of the Nameless Titan;
- New Ichor Memosprite enemies: Judge of Oblivion, Winged Serpent, Pheasant, Canine;
- New characters & LC: Evernight (5-star Ice Remembrance), Dan Heng: Permansor Terrae (5-star Physical Preservation), To Evernight’s Stars (5-star Remembrance) & Though Worlds Apart (5-star Preservation);
- Pact of Permansor Terrae – from October 15 until the end of Version 4.0, Trailblazers with Trailblaze Level 3 or higher can claim Dan Heng – Permansor Terrae for free and get the materials to get him to level 60;
- Gift of Odyssey – log-in event awarding a total of x10 special tickets;
- Conductor’s Special Treat – after V3.6 goes live and until the end of V3.7, players can claim Interference Key x1, Lone Stardust x600, and Jade Feather x200 via mail;
- New game mode: Anomaly Arbitration. The Arbitrator of “the Equilibrium” has approached you, hoping to restore balance to the universe through a game of chess. This will be an unprecedented and difficult challenge…
- Nice Weather for Dromases event – looks like that egg from the Dromas Workshop is about to hatch…
- Colorful Mayhem event – Origami Bird and Seal Slammers are doing a collab with a brand-new mode.
- Try-Not-To-Laugh Challenge – Kate from the Bloodhound Family found a strange dream bubble and invited you to join a trial called “Try-Not-To-Laugh Challenge”. Needless to say, it must have something to do with the “Masked Fools”…
- Planar Fissure – Simulated/Divergent Universe double drop event;
- Realm of the Strange – Caverns of Corrosion double drop event;
- New Cavern Relics: World-Remaking Deliverer & Self-Enshrouded Recluse sets;
- New animated short dedicated to Dan Heng & new Myriad Celestia for March 7th & Evernight;
- Currency Wars – an all-new large-scale permanent game mode is coming soon.
