Developer HoYoverse had been on hand during the latest Honkai: Star Rail special program to introduce players to the first juicy reveals of Version 4.0. Grab your Mem hat, the departure to Aha’s playground of Planarcadia is imminent! Next target: the Phantasmoon Games, the prize: becoming an Aeon for a minute.
The Express’ fate is bound to Planarcadia. At some point in the past, Astral Express had already crashed on the planet. It is also the homeland of Himeko, and the origin of an extremely popular comic dedicated to the Nameless. So don’t be too surprised when you get hit by a fave of fans on the first landing!
But it is not just the Express. The Xianzhou Alliance sent Yao Guang, the Seer Strategist; The Fools are around as well, with Sparxie taking an active part in the games; The Stellaron Hunters are represented by Blade and Silver Wolf; there are a number of locals; and, of course, the IPC wants to get their hands into everything.
Ready for departure? The Express makes the jump on February 13. Note that this is another long story, but it won’t be locked only to Planarcadia. In the second half of the year, the developers will take the action to the IPE’s HQ, Astropolis.
When you arrive on Planarcadia that, according to legend, was once a flat “world in canvas” that was awakened and revived by the IPC, you will be met by Madam Pearl, one of the Ten Stonehearts. Fifteen years ago, the Astral Express began its journey from this very place, led by Navigator Himeko. So prepare for some pampering that befits your local celebrity status!
In Duomension City, you will encounter the unique “imagenae” of this world. These unusual creatures live in symbiosis with the locals, having long been integrated into the city’s daily life. They rely on people’s “Wishpower” to sustain their life, and will gradually fade away once forgotten.
The city welcomes Trailblazers to visit distinct locations: be it the brightly lit commercial district of Dovebrook, Himeko’s alma mater and world-renowned art school “Graphia Academy,” or even the secret gathering place of the Masked Fools: the Tavern of Elation.
