Developer HoYoverse had been on hand during the latest special program to introduce players to Honkai: Star Rail – Version 4.4: In Ravages Does the Whistle Sound. And this one seems to be quite worth waiting for: new character, main storyline, cosmetics, weekly boss, and a whole new phase of the HSR x Fate/Stay Night [Unlimited Blade Works] collab.
At the end of the previous chapter, Lord Ravager Asat Pramad had dropped his disguise and entered the game personally, shattering the peace that had been sustained for 15 years. Forget about the Bloodstained Games, Planarcadia is in for a much greater danger. Will the planet survive another invasion from this Demon King? Ultimately, the Trailblazer and the Nameless will have to face him in combat to find out.
Perhaps along the way we’ll learn more about Himeko’s identity, the events of 15 years ago, and even our protagonist’s very own past, up till now hidden from them.

Himeko • Nova is a Fire-Type character following the Path of Erudition. When the battle begins, she immediately deploys a Territory and summons the mech “Starblazer” to assist in battle. When using her Ultimate, she leads her teammates to pilot “Starblazer” and attack enemies. When the Territory is deployed, all teammates additionally gain the Assist Skill, and they can summon “Starblazer” at any time to attack all enemies.
If a teammate is part of the Express Crew, they can also gain special effects. Additionally, when using her Technique during overworld exploration, Himeko • Nova can also pilot her mech, aim at and attack enemies within range from high above in the sky.

HSR x Fate/Stay Night [Unlimited Blade Works] collab Phase 2 Kicks Off on July 24
As the Holy Grail War commences once more, two new characters join the roster: Rin Tohsaka (Quantum Erudition) and Gilgamesh (Lightning Destruction). Their banners will become available on July 24. Players will also be able to choose a character to receive for free between Gilgamesh and Archer.
Additionally, spending 200 pulls during Version 4.4 will give players a choice between two 5-star LCs: “I Am As You Behold” (Destruction, Gilgamesh signature) or “The Hell Where Ideals Burn” (Hunt, Archer’s signature).
Rin is a 5-star Quantum-Type character following the Path of Erudition, skilled in using gems in battle. During combat, she gains a set amount of “Gem Energy” and deals multiple additional instances of DMG to a random target by consuming the “Gem Energy” she has. The more “Gem Energy” she consumes, the more instances of additional DMG she deals. When teammates consume or recover Skill Points, CRIT DMG also increases and Rin Tohsaka accumulates “Gem Energy.”
Naturally, she serves well as Archer support since he and his team can supply her with endless Gems with their SP-hungry ways.
Gilgamesh will also become a playable character. He is a 5-star Lightning-Type character following the Path of Destruction. After entering battle, each ally unit taking action can accumulate “Interest” for Gilgamesh, regenerate a set amount of Energy, and increase the DMG of his Ultimate. When accumulated “Interest” reaches its threshold, Gilgamesh unlocks his Skill and unleashes Gate of Babylon to fire weapons from his treasury, dealing multiple instances of DMG to enemies. When using his Ultimate, Gilgamesh summons Enuma Elish to deal massive DMG to all enemies.
