Look out for Neverness to Everness, the open-world RPG adventure from the Tower of Fantasy team.
Welcome to Hethereau, a massive metropolitan city and the backdrop for the latest gacha game on our calendar. Hotta Studio just revealed a first look at the upcoming anime RPG Neverness to Everness, and it’s a spooky take on the usual array of gacha-fueled gaming experiences.
Revealed with a teaser trailer that gives a glimpse of what might be in store, the new title from the Tower of Fantasy team is an impressive-looking attempt to mix high action anime inspired combat and a seemingly massive modern world. Between skyscrapers and bustling traffic, the vibrant backdrop of Hethereau seems to play host to some supernatural occurrences. Anomalies intersect with the daily routine and it looks like a few special warriors can bring normality back and battle some ferocious monsters.
If this sounds a lot like a recent release from HoYoverse, that’s what we thought too. The supernatural urban open-world RPG teased similar action combat, and flashy moves, but has a twist all its own. Drawing some obvious inspiration from the spooky side of anime and manga, monsters invading Hethereau have their own creepy construction and odd unsettling realms.

Yesterday’s teaser also gave us a look at the sheer scale of this tale. Huge freeways and player cars were featured. Customizable screens, motorized mounts and plenty of horsepower under the bonnet make for a very flashy way to ditch the fast travel mechanic and emphasize that this is going to be a huge play space.
With its own weird new world and plenty of expectations, we’re keeping an eye on Neverness to Everness. Due to drop more in September 2024, you can pre-register now on the official website.
