You’ve probably checked out Zenless Zone Zero 2.0 and might be wondering what’s with all the commotion around the Suibian Temple. While this ramshackle restoration project seems confusing at first. It’s actually rather simple.
If you somehow missed it, then head to the temple found near the opening moments of the Waifei Peninsula and speak to Belion. This Bangboo will get you started on the latest core gameplay loop and ultimate reason for dropping into the Hollows that await:

The Suibian Temple has three core systems:
- Crafting
- Selling
- Discovery

Crafting
This is the first thing you’ll learn, and it’s as simple as picking a recipe and crafting. You’ll need materials which are most commonly found in hollows at early levels so jump into the game and get grinding.
Selling
Thankfully there’s no bargaining. Just load up the items you’ve crafted and sell them using Bangboos. This feels like the video store but a much more convincing version
Discovery
Discovery here you’ll discover new recipes to craft, but first you’ll need to advance through a number of upgrades and quests. Thankfully none of this is difficult

Upgrades
Largely linked to some basic crafting or achievement. These levels will allow you to unlock new items and generally repair the Temple. Upgrade by access the menu at the top of the Temple screen and clicking through.
Neighborhood

Everybody needs good neighbors, and the entire region is set up to help the restoration along. As things unlock, you’ll be able to head to different stores or neighbourhood establishments to complete tasks, earn or buy extra resources, even buying upgrades for the Temple to speed things along.
Dispatching
Finally we’re getting an offline use for our Bangboo. While you’ll be expected to grind out your materials, the Bangboo can help with that. Bangboo can be dispatched, if you’ve played Genshin Impact you know where this is going, to retrieve materials on quests. While there are a number of variables involved, you’ll be able to dispatch a number of Bangboo at any time, although I feel like this works best as an offline activity, and have materials ready to craft and items to sell as soon as you log in. Go ahead and get grinding for those upgrades now in Zenless Zone Zero.
