The developers of turn-based RPG Honkai: Star Rail are back with a new trailer for Castorice. Titled “Epitaph”, it shows her search for her twin sister Polyxia, whom she was separated with.
“Life and death is a journey. When a butterfly rests on that dead branch, the withered will be reborn again.”
Castorice is a Chrysos Heir that wields the authority of Thanatos, Titan of Death, and seeks to retrieve their Coreflame. This journey will bring her and the Trailblazer to the River of Souls in the upcoming Version 3.2: “Through the Petals in the Land of Repose”.
Castorice wields the Netherwing, a spectral entity born from eons of memories and divine authority. She summons this fearsome dragon with her Ultimate and, just as an entity of death should, it burns its own HP to scorch all enemies with dragonflame. While active, the Netherwing syncs up with Castorice to delivery devastating joint attacks.
When allies lose HP, it is converted into HP for Netherwing, further amplifying this unit and Castorice’s damage. When in dire straits, it shields the party by taunting foes, only to erupt into a sacrificial blaze upon leaving the field, dealing additional damage and healing allies.
