As promised during the Version 3.7 special program, developer HoYoverse released the latest Myriad Celestia trailer for Honkai: Star Rail. Titled Exotale: Scene 8, it focuses on Kafka and Silver Wolf discussing what choosing a different destination would have meant for the Astral Express and the cosmos at large.
“Exterior of Amphoreus — Night. The Remembrance. The Erudition. The Destruction. Long ago, a woman said to the protagonist: “Your next choice will split your destiny in two.” Now, as ██’s Finality draws near, the choice still remains.”
Probably every player out there had sarcastically wondered, “Thanks a lot, Black Swan, why couldn’t we just go to Lushaka or Melustanin?” – and this trailer provides a quick glimpse into what would have happened if the Express ignored Amphoreus.
If the crew decided to go to the oceanic planet of Lushaka instead, many years later the Garden would have broken through the bounds of Amphoreus. To stop Irontomb from actualizing, Herta would have sacrificed herself… but ended up becoming Emperor Rupert the Third and waged bloody war across the cosmos.
Following the path to Melustanin instead would have crossed the Express’ path with Lord Ravager Celenova. But on the other side of the cosmos, the Xianzhou Alliance will kick off its God Slayer protocol, jumpstarting the Aeon war and promoting Jingliu to become the new eighth Lord Ravager in the battle against Yaoshi.
Patrevia, another possible stop instead of Amphoreus, would have seen the clash between the While and the Black Holes – Zephyro and Welt, bringing destruction on grand scale. As for Amphoreus… Farewells are unavoidable for the Trailblaze. Two possibilities remain – but what will you choose? Version 3.7: As Tomorrow Became Yesterday arrives on November 5 to finish this romantic tale.
