Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.3: “Farewell, Penacony!” arrives on June 19, bringing along the debut of two new characters, the continuation of the main storyline, and much more. Firefly, limited 5-star Fire Destruction, debuts in the first half of the patch. The developers have already outlined her abilities and shared the Myriad Celestia trailer. And now it’s time to see her in action in her animated short ‘The Embers of Glamoth’.

Glamoth is a fallen planet that got ravaged by Tayzzyronth’s Swarm. In order to fight against the Swarm and turn the tide of the invasion, the Republic of Glamoth decided to alter the essence of humanity and created a weapon born to fight: Glamoth’s Iron Cavalry, genetically-engineered warriors born to die in battle for their homeland.
Firefly is one such Glamoth warrior, a young girl clad in the mechanical armor “SAM”. She is afflicted with the agony of Entropy Loss Syndrome due to genetic modification. She joined the Stellaron Hunters in search of the meaning of life, relentlessly pursuing ways to defy fate.
When it comes to combat, Firefly employs Break damage and Superbreak to defeat her enemies.
