With Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.2 special program announced, developer HoYoverse is back to provide a small sneak peek at things coming after it. Version 3.3 will continue the Trailblaze and Flame-Chase journeys across Amphoreus, and make new and familiar faces playable. The first new playable character is Hyacine, a healer from the Twilight Courtyard that first appeared during Version 3.1. She is joined by Cipher, a completely new face. Stay tuned!
Hyacine – 5-star Wind Remembrance
Healer of Light, Hyacinthia, is the Chrysos Heir who guards the Sky Coreflame of Aquila. According to the prophecy, she must inherit her ancestors’ will and mend the torn fabric of dusk and dawn. As the city-state in the clouds crumbles through time, the Twilight Courtyard opens its gates once more, bringing a glimmer of light to Evernight.
“As the descendant of Sky, I, Hyacinthia, will fulfill the Flame-Chase duty with all of you. At the same time, I’ll do my best to help everyone as Hyacine, healer of the Twilight Courtyard. This is my good friend and assistant, the little pegasus Ika. Do you want pet them? Please, go ahead! They love being petted~”
We did not get to see Hyacine in action in V3.1, as she had to stay behind to offer help to the wounded. Her position as a Healer of Light begs a question: will she actually be the first Remembrance Sustain? Or will we have the Jiaoqiu situation where you can’t spell pharmacist without harm? Stay tuned to find out!
Cipher – 5-star Quantum Nihility
Fleet-footed traveler Cifera, the Chrysos Heir that claimed the Divine Authority of Zagreus, the Titan of Trickery, but stayed out of Aglaea’s and Tribbie’s war. She dwells in Dolos, the lost city of rogues where troublemakers revel in their games, answering to no one.
“Cifera? Ah, so you’ve heard of me… But few call me by that name these days. Call me Cipher. It’s sharper and swifter, like the wind itself. A perfect name for a master thief, don’t you think?”
With her being Nihility, it is next to impossible to predict what her kit might revolve around: DoT? Debuffs, DEF Shred or buffs? Break? Follow-up Attacks? EXO-toughness? Or something we haven’t even seen yet? Stay tuned to find out when the developers are ready to share.
