With Version 3.3 special program revealed, it’s time to use Oronyx’ powers and take a look further beyond. HoYoverse is back to tease HSR Version 3.4 characters, starting with the man, the myth, the Deliverer himself: Phainon.
Phainon – 5-star Physical Destruction
Proclaimed to be the Deliverer of Amphoreus, the hero of the prophecy that will save the world from the Dark Tide, Phainon is both humble yet passionate about his trials. He hails from Aedes Elysiae, a remote frontier village isolated from the world, that now lives on only in cryptic legends. Having lost his home, this Chrysos Heir is resolute about protecting others from the same fate.
“I’m Phainon of Aedes Elysiae. Greetings. As fellow outlanders in Okhema, our meeting is surely fate’s design. Come. Maybe we’ll even have a chance to fight alongside each other in the future.”
Nameless hero █████, the Chrysos Heir carrying the Coreflame of “Worldbearing”, you must memorize the ideals of all worlds, carry the fate of multitudes, and bring the first light of dawn to the new world—but should dawn have never existed, let the fires of rage burn this body to ashes and transform into the blazing sun of tomorrow!
That said, Phainon is now the third 5-star Physical Destruction character of Honkai: Star Rail, predated by Clara and Yunli. Stay tuned to see how his kit differs from both of them!
Honkai: Star Rail x Fate UBW Collab – Saber & Archer
Additionally, based on the revealed date, the upcoming Honkai: Star Rail x Fate UBW collaboration will land on this version as well. That means come July 11th, you will have not only Phainon (who releases on July 2nd), but also two new shiny Fate UBW characters: Saber (5-star Wind Destruction) and Archer (5-star Quantum Hunt). Archer is the first playable Quantum male, and he’ll be given for free for a limited time, so don’t miss out!
The solitary Heroic spirit traverses the long night of fate, wielding Excalibur. Meanwhile, no matter where he is, Archer always remains justice’s steadfast companion.
Currently, there is nothing known about their abilities or involvement in the story. The only thing revealed by HoYoverse is that we will be going back to Penacony.
