The adventures on Penacony wrap up with Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.3, available now. As the heroes are saying their goodbyes, Sparkle prepared a new video to celebrate the curtain call in her own way. Note that footage contains moments from the latest Trailblaze Mission, so you might want to avoid it if you didn’t have a chance to play through it yet.
“When you were but a child, you must have tried tossing stones into the water, and found joy in the act, yes? Then, since the ripples are destined to vanish, have you ever considered exactly why we cast the stones? The answer is simple: only the one tossing the stone knows what kind of ripples the stone will create — and what kinds of joy will be born out of the twisted shadows on the water.”
Version 2.3: Farewell, Penacony! brought a variety of new content to Honkai: Star Rail. Players get to enjoy two new endgame modes, Apocalyptic Shadow and Divergent Universe, while also getting a new main story, a bunch of improvements, new zone to explore, and more. Additionally, the update introduced two new characters: Firefly (5-star Fire Destruction) who is available now, and Jade (5-star Quantum Erudition) whose banner will kick off in Phase 2.
Last but certainly not least, the developers went on to tease some upcoming characters, revealing a total of 7 silhouettes! All the characters shown below are showing up to participate in Xianzhou Wardance, hosted on the Luofu. You can learn about two of these participants from Version 2.4 character preview.

- The Xianzhou Zhuming delegation: Xuaiyan, Yunli.
