Developer HoYoverse kicked off the pre-download for Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.2. Take advantage of it to download some of the game resources and start playing as soon as possible once servers go up. Once the maintenance is over, players will also receive Stellar Jades x300 as compensation.
- PC – the pre-download size is roughly 4.1 GB, Trailblazers can continue playing while the game is downloading. Start pre-installation through the HoYoplay launcher, there will be a special button next to the “Start Game” option.
- Mobile (iOS and Adnroid) – the game is unavailable while pre-installation is ongoing. The mobile version’s file size is about 2.4 GB, and the team suggests using Wi-Fi network for download and installation.
- PlayStation – after Trailblazers launch Honkai: Star Rail, if sufficient storage space is available on the device, the game will automatically begin pre-installing Honkai: Star Rail after a short period of time.
Additionally, the devs have shared the latest Dev Radio update preview and revealed the details for the new season landing in Currency Wars: Zero-Sum Game. Trailblazers can look forward to new characters Ashveil, Silver Wolf Lv.999, Evanescia and Elation Trailblazer. Many characters had been enhanced or adjusted, with Moze and Silver Wolf joining the Expert Advisors.
