HYTE’s New Y50 RGB Delivers Panoramic PC Style For Under $100

For years, premium showcase PC cases have steadily climbed in price. Between panoramic glass panels, dual-chamber layouts, and increasingly elaborate RGB implementations, it’s not unusual to see enthusiast cases creeping toward the cost of a mid-range graphics card. At Computex 2026, HYTE is taking aim at that trend with the introduction of the Y50 RGB, a new chassis designed to bring the company’s signature design language to a much wider audience.

Priced at $99.99, the Y50 RGB serves as the first product in HYTE’s new “Essential Aesthetic” lineup. While it sits below premium offerings such as the Y70 Touch Infinite, it retains many of the features that have helped make the Y-Series one of the most recognizable case families in PC building.

The case features HYTE’s signature three-piece panoramic tempered glass design, offering an unobstructed view of internal components from multiple angles. A dual-chamber layout keeps power supplies and cable management hidden behind the scenes, helping builders create cleaner-looking systems without spending hours wrestling with zip ties.

One of the most notable additions is native support for rear-connect motherboard ecosystems. The Y50 RGB is compatible with ASUS BTF, Gigabyte STEALTH, and MSI Project ZERO motherboards, allowing builders to route the majority of their cables behind the motherboard tray for an exceptionally clean presentation.

HYTE has also redesigned portions of the internal layout, introducing a stair-stepped floor section that creates additional space for customization while maintaining airflow throughout the chassis. The case supports horizontally mounted graphics cards and provides seven full-sized PCIe expansion slots.

Cooling support is particularly impressive at this price point. The Y50 RGB can accommodate up to nine fans and dual 360mm radiators, making it suitable for everything from mainstream gaming rigs to more ambitious water-cooled systems. HYTE is also including four RGB fans with every case, helping reduce the additional costs builders often face after purchasing a new chassis.

The Y50 RGB launches in five color options: Snow White, Pitch Black, Black Cherry, Strawberry Milk, and Taro Milk.

The Y50 RGB feels like a logical evolution of HYTE’s product strategy. The company built its reputation on eye-catching premium cases. Now it’s trying to make that same visual appeal accessible to builders who may not have a premium-sized budget.
