The brand behind plenty of gaming den decorations has accounted you can now add a bit of AI to your RGB with the new Govee AI Gaming Sync Box.

First announced during CES and available now, the Govee’s new AI enhanced RGB isn’t your average set of addressable headers. After adding TV backlighting and wirelessly controlled strip lights to many gaming dens, this lighting brand is taking content synched decoration to a new level. Thanks to the Govee AI Gaming Synch Box players dipping into DOOM and jungling to victory can expect some awsome looking accompaniment on stream thanks to a case full of powerful chips and custom algorithms.

According to Govee, this new addition to their lighting line up is able to turn standard gameplay into an immersive light show, changing and activity in tandem with on-screen events for an incredible experience. The company’s CogniGlow’s deep learning algorithm analyzes characteristic gameplay to provide more than 30 customized lighting effects, emphasizing every highlight moment instantaneously with near-zero delay. This stand out feature includes support for League of Legends, Apex Legends, Valorant, and Overwatch 2 at launch. More are coming after launch too.

Alongside the custom creations, this control hub also features:

• Gorgeous light effects through near-perfect color matching and zero delays – unlike other solutions on the market, which feature weak color-capture accuracy and slow performance
• Smooth gameplay and real-time content-reactive syncing, as it’s the first HDMI box to support an incredibly high refresh rate (up to 240Hz) and beautiful, high-resolution pictures (up to 4K)
• Seamless functionality with smart controls through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant

It drops online just ahead of the new Govee RGBIC LED Neon Rope. The new rope, is designed for desks and will be compatible with the Govee AI Gaming Sync Box. While the new desk focused light strip can contort to 42 independent controllable light segments, the AI box can control them all. At $299.99/€299.99/£299.99, you’d expect it to be able to do more than simply switch up the background ambience.
