INDIE Live Expo will return for its winter edition on Tuesday, December 1, 2026. As always, the broadcast promises dozens of announcements, including world premieres, content updates, and surprise launches during the signature INDIE Waves segment. This segment serves as a global showcase, featuring updates from developers across multiple regions and platforms.
Since its debut in 2020, the showcase has amassed over 100 million views, establishing itself as a key platform for discovering upcoming indie titles. The 15th occurrence of the event will continue its tradition of highlighting indie games for the coming year. Moreover, the annual award ceremony will honor critically acclaimed titles. Prominent members of the game industry will select their personal favorites from 2026’s releases. Additional details, including judges and the full program lineup, will be announced later.
For developers and publishers, the call for submissions to the INDIE Waves showcase segment will open in September. Those interested in participating are encouraged to monitor the official INDIE Live Expo website for further information and submission guidelines.
The previous event took place in April, featuring over 200 titles and debuting new teasers. Featured titles included a lo-fi cyberpunk action RPG from Sukeban Games, an automation-sim-meets-anime RPG from Japanese studio sakastudios, a sci-fi sandbox action RPG from Chinese developer Stellia Games, and a reality-bending visual novel from Shadow Glove. The spring showcase can be viewed on the official YouTube channel.
