Gameloft has announced that the next free Disney Dreamlight Valley will make its way into the game on October 9th. Called “Jungle Getaway,” the new content brings players a collab between developers and Loungefly to bring the highly collectible mini-backpacks into DDV. Multiple items will arrive in the game, including backpacks and dog harnesses “recreated in-game to match their real-world counterparts.” One style will be released in the game’s stores, and two styles will be on the Night Show Star Path.
In addition, Timon and Puumba will finally show their furry faces in the Lion King-inspired Realm. Players will see the area — literally — in a new light as the formerly all-dark Realm will be bathed in light half the time. Players will join up with the iconic due on a three-day jungle getaway. There shouldn’t be any problem with that, right? RIGHT? Players will relax in a cozy camp, take power naps, stargaze, and learn how to deal with stress and anxiety. Lastly, players can expect all-new story Quests and Friendship rewards to help the dynamic duo move into the Valley.
The Night Show Star Path is offering players new customization rewards such as the rockin’ turtle companion, punk-inspired fashion/hairstyles, and even more.
