Horror is coming home during June when a KARMA: The Dark World Physical arrives for PlayStation 5
Meridiem and Wired Productions have announced that PlayStation 5 owners are set to get a new thriller at home. The psychological tale KARMA: The Dark World is set to get a physical release. Players will soon be able to sit this dystopian tale on their own shelves when the Limited-Edition physical release hits stores on 19 June 2025.
For those that haven’t gone back in time to an alternative 1984, this dark timeline is run by the all-seeing Leviathan Corporation. You’ll be able to subvert this regime with a few extra goodies too. A Limited edition of the physical release will include a special case, three art cards, a physical Leviathan ID Badge, a downloadable code for the soundtrack, and a downloadable code for the art book!
The Case
The in-game action follows an officer of Leviathan’s Thought Bureau. Starting with another mundane agent for Roam Agent Daniel McGovern, things take a turn when you discover a world of deceit and betrayal, where everything you know starts to be questioned, including your own identity. Explore a society in the grip of corporate mind control. Delve into your own memories and use a combination of tools to unravel a mystery that warps the human psyche. With an engaging story, a stylized world, and a fantastic soundtrack, this is an appealing proposition if you like your boxed games.
