Teatime is going to look very different if you choose to pick up cozy café management sim Call of Boba, in Early Access. Available now on Steam, the first days of this cute café management sim follow a wee penguin and head to a new town to take over a struggling Boba shop. Get in on the ground floor of this pixel perfect tale as you save a struggling Boba Tea shop and get away from the stress of the modern rat race.
Following the pawprints and chilled out café culture of games like Calico, this little boba shop is a cute getaway. It combines combining life sim, farming, restaurant, cooking sim, roguelike and minigame elements as you take over and renovate a sweet establishment. Along the way you’ll do business, brew tea, find recipes, plant and farm ingredients. Befriend and even fall in love with the locals, go fishing and fight dream enemies with boba weapons.
After the sun goes down, these nefarious entities creep out and its up to you to wield boba tea weapons, known as Bobas, to defeat them and gain new inspiration for your boba tea creations. No idea but I can’t wait to see how that works when things all go a little bit Moonlighter on this otherwise relaxing endeavor.
