It’s time to roll! Developers Bolder Games and Chimera Studios have revealed that Kirby-inspired 3D platformer Virballs comes to Steam on March 18. The game boasts gameplay loop reminiscent of Rachet and Clank, and offers players an exciting journey into the galaxy of elementally-charged creatures. Prepare to collect and combine their abilities to create powerful new weapons.
As ORB (Object Removal Bot), it is up to you to clean up the mess of the invasive virball menace created by the villainous mad scientist Dr. Corvid. To make matters worse, innocent planetary inhabitants known as Floobers are also being attacked by the vicious creatures. Harness the powers of the virballs, create elemental Cores, and thwart Dr. Corvid’s evil plans.
Virballs – Key Features Include:
- Collect Virballs: ORB can weaponize the unique elemental properties of the virballs — Earth, Water, Electricity, Air, Fire, and … Slime (?) — to create dozens of devastating ammunition types for his blasters.
- Run, Jump, and Blast: Battle your way through levels packed with enemies and challenges, utilizing ORB’s trusty rocket-propelled claws, blasters, thrusters, and other special abilities.
