After some time, the Coming War Cult, using many of the latest technologies, predicts a huge danger for the Vanguard, but the Vanguard is self-confident and neglects the instructions.
And after some time, the prophecy comes true, and the Cabal faction, namely the Red Legion, led by Ghaul. Having disconnected all communications, the character arrives in the city, observes that it is practically destroyed, and also observes what was the purpose of the attack – he came for The Traveler, he was going to capture the light and receive all his gifts, namely abilities and immortality.
In order to understand the nature of The Traveler and the light, Ghaul captures the Herald and interrogates him, and does not believe that Ghaul will be able to take possession of the light. After all, in order to accept it requires sacrifice, devotion, and death.
The Guardian quickly gets to the leader of the attack, but as soon as he locates Ghaul, he activates his technology and suppresses the Light of all Guardians throughout the galaxy.
Ghaul defeats the guard, and throws him off the ship into the ruins of the city. The Guardian survives and makes it out of the city while watching the Cabal deal with the remnants of the Guardians. Having got out of the city, the guard stumbles upon a small settlement on a farm, and gets acquainted with Hawthorne. And by coincidence, a fragment of The Traveler is found not far from the farm, the Guardian makes his way to it and receives Light and abilities.
And now the guards have to unite the Vanguard by finding all the leaders –
Zaval, Cayde-6 and Ikora. After meeting with Zavala on Titan and helping him solve a problem with the Hive on Titan, they intercept the Red Legion’s signal and learn of their plans to destroy the Sun.
After the guard is sent to help the head of the vanguard of hunters – Cayde-6, who is stuck in a Vex trap. Our guard manages to help him and as a reward we get a Vex teleporter.
And the final part is Ikora Rey which is located on Io, Jupiter’s moon. The guards await the cabal and the possessed. And as a result, Asher Mir provides us with data about the ship “Almighty” and how to get on it.
Having infiltrated the ship and sabotaged, and in the name of the general confusion, the consul, without Ghaul’s order, kills the Herald before he learns the necessary information, and now Ghaul is forced to take the light from The Traveler by force. In the final fight with the Guardian, they both use The Traveler’s light. But at the last moment, Ghaul turns into a disembodied and huge creature, and The Traveler, freed from the device, releases a powerful surge of energy that destroys Ghaul and returns the Light to all Guardians.
And this surge has two important meanings:
-He attracts the attention of the Pyramids of Darkness, who moved into the solar system behind The Traveler
-And the ship of the Emperor of the Cabal in exile arrives in the system and shares data on other forces, of course, not just like that, but after passing the test in the Leviathan raid
Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris
During this, Warlock Osiris explores time simulations and stumbles upon a future in which the Vex take over the entire system. They attack him, and at the last moment, Osiris sends his ghost Sagira to the present. And he himself is locked up.
The followers of Osiris discover his ghost on Mercury and give the shell to Ikora Rey at the Vanguard, who was Osiris’ apprentice, to find Osiris and help save him.
At the request of Ikora, the guardian goes to Mercury and, upon arriving at the place, encounters an impenetrable wall in front of the “Endless Forest”, a kind of Osiris simulation laboratory. But in order to move further to Osiris, you need to restore his ghost. And this can be done on the EDZ and during recovery, but there it accidentally inhabits the shell of our ghost. And then it helps to enter the forest, and the projections of Osiris tell how the simulation works. And after searching, the guard comes across that very simulation, and in that, there is no light and darkness, everything is subject to the Vex.
The guards discover Panoctes, the Vex superintelligence that is leading the Vex army to what we saw in the simulation, and the guard is forced to retreat. But after a long preparation, together with Ikora Rey, they find a way to go through the simulation directly to Panoctes, and there the guard finds Osiris himself. Together with whom they destroy the mind of the Vex, they get out and save Osiris himself. Osiris stays behind and creates a machine called the “Sundial” that opens doors to different dimensions.
Destiny 2 Warmind
Anastasia Bray, a descendant of a great scientist, patrolling Mars, stumbles upon the hordes of the Hive. And to help her, our main character receives a signal for help.
And as it turned out, Rasputin’s AI is located there. And it was precisely because of this that she flew to Mars to awaken the most powerful weapon in the system – the ancient military supercomputer Rasputin.
But not everything is so simple, soon the guards discover that in the bowels of the red planet there is the Hive Worm God – Zol, a creature so powerful that the guards have to bring a fragment of a traveler that broke away from him during the Red War, and this fragment serves as bait.
On the way to this creature, he meets the son of King Oryx – Nokris, whom he denounced and expelled. But to kill Worm, the guard asks for help from Rasputin, who gives them the weapon “Valkia”. With the help of which the guard defeats the worm.
Destiny 2 Forsaken
The riots have turned the Reef into a place of lawlessness. Cayde-6 and the Guardian go to the area to fix the problem. After they land on the Reef, the Prison of Elders breaks out, the most wanted and most dangerous criminals break free. On the spot, it turns out that he provoked and staged Variks, the fallen one who served Queen Mara Sov. The reason was her brother Uldren, who survived after the war and, under the influence of Variks, organized a riot.
Having successfully suppressed the riot, the team notices that the riot was a red herring, the goal was to save the very barons who were captured there.
Cayde-6 gets ahead of them and gets trapped with the Scorn. Their number is huge, and Cayde-6 loses the ghost. And then meets with Uldred Sov who kills him. The guard arrives but it’s too late, Uldren and the barons are standing in the door with Cayde’s trophy revolver. The Guardian returns to command with Cayde’s body, and the leaders in the remnants of Ikora and Zavala can’t decide whether or not to attack the Reef. Left without the support of the Vanguard, the Guardian decides to take over the vendetta.
Met on the Reef with Petra Venj, she introduces him to Spider the self-proclaimed baron, and following his tips and hints, the Guardian deals with the barons one by one. But the latter – Fikrul, he can not, and at this moment Petra Venj tells him about a secret place – the City of Dreams, the concentration of power. And according to her information, Uldren and Fikrul went there.
Arriving at the place, the Guardian discovers Fikrul, who is also a Fanatic, at the entrance to the tower and defeats him. Further, the guard finds Uldren, who, using the shard of The Traveler, which he obtained earlier on the EDZ, opens the gate in the hope of freeing his sister, Queen Mara Sov. As it turns out, Uldren saw visions all this time, and thought that his sister was leading him, but it was not so … All this time, his tormented mind was enslaving the chimera Riven, which immediately attacks Uldren and eats him right in front of the guard. The Guardian attacks her and defeats her.
Then, taking the exhausted Uldren by surprise, he and Petra Venj give him the final say. “Everything I did, I did for her. It’s funny that Light and Darkness are separated by such a fine line. Do you even know which side you’re on?”
The Guardian kills him, and upon returning to the Dreaming City, Petra Venj and the Guardian learn that Mara really survived the battle with Oryx in Saturn’s orbit. But without explaining what is happening, the Guardians are asked to head to the Heart of the City so that they destroy the remains of Riven, which was the last of its kind, an ancient dragon that grants wishes, and here the events are already transferred to the Last Wish raid. And as it turns out, the whole series of events was set up by Riven from the very beginning. And her death is the final step in the fulfillment of her last wish, in which case the curse of the Dreaming City is activated. The source of the curse is Dul Inkaru, a witch, daughter of Savathûn. They infiltrate the Throneworld and defeat her. After that, for the first time in a long time, they meet with Queen Mara.
And everything seems to be fine, but after a few weeks, it is found out that the curse is active again, and Dul Inkaru is still alive, and we understand that the Dreaming City is imprisoned in some kind of time loop …
